One-Stop Family Fitness at The Parenthood Wellness

Good news for all the kids out there. The Parenthood Wellness had launched its kids gym, Zac & Zibbo that were designed to create a fun and nurturing physical learning environment for children of various ages. Besides kids gym, The Parenthood Wellness also launched its adult fitness i.e. WiO, Power Plate Hub to make it a one-stop family fitness centre. I was fortunate to be invited to witness the launch.

Zac & Zibbo is the one and only kids' gym in Malaysia that provides circuit training with their very own mini-version of workout machines designed for kids. These machines are designed and manufactured to interact with kids through seats with an ergonomic back and sensors to ensure correct posture.

The core of the programme is gymnastic that catered for children ages 18 months to 6 years old. Their Zac Adventure programme, with the usage of these machines is catered for children aged 6-12 years old. Their certified instructors are trained to engage the kids in a very positive and encouraging manner that put a smile on our child's face from beginning to the end.

The Parenthood Wellness also offered adults' fitness and training centre through its "Work it Out" or WiO that focus on the usage of the Power Plate machine which uses the principle of Acceleration Training. The machine will stimulate our body's natural response to vibration that transmits waves of energy throughout the body, activating muscle contractions between 25 to 50 times per second. This will helps in muscular strength, toning and improvisation of circulation, weight loss, balance and coordination, decrease of cellulite and faster recovery in a short period of time.

During the launch, the parents were told to perform some basic stretches and exercise positions for a good 60 seconds and the results can be seen immediately with an increased range of motion and improved the flexibility level. The Power Plate machine's price from RM40,000 to RM80,000 but WiO offers a reasonable package with an experience personal trainer.

Another attraction at the Parenthood is the Playland. It is the first London Street themed indoor playground in Malaysia that promises endless fun. Cater for children ages 2-12 years old, the playland is equipped with plenty of challenging yet fun obstacles for us to let off some steam while developing our gross motor skills. Lillipilli cafe which located at the Parenthood is the best place to have the nasi lemak rendang. Kids meal are available too. The dining area is spacious and link to the Playland. You could enjoy your meal here while look out for the children at the playground.
